  Brought in a dress, I was wearing to a wedding, that needed to be shortened. Guy seemed like he knew what he was doing. Went to pick it up and stupidly I didn’t check the dress before I brought it home. A couple of days before the wedding, something told me to try it on, I put it on and half the hem of the dress was hanging low I lifted the dress and discovered he didn’t see the hem all the way around. Next day I dropped the dress off for the SECOND time. Picked it back up the day before the wedding But this time I made sure to check the hem and AGAIN the hem was loose around the dress. I was pressed with time and had to leave the dress again. As a result, the dress was not ready. I paid $42 for a lousy job. Today I picked up the dress, making it trip NUMBER 4 and now that the wedding is over, and I asked to speak with the manager for at least a partial refund. Guy claimed he was the manager and NOT once did he apologize for his mistakes. Instead was mad at me for not asking for refund the first day I saw he didn’t do a good job. I figured he would just sew the hem and check his work. He claimed his machine was broken and he did the job how I’m not getting anything. He stated he gave me a discount already, which I never asked for, So he charges $52 for shortening a dress and a hem???! After going back and forth for a few minutes he finally gave me back $20. Now I’m home and I’m looking at the work and it’s so poorly done. The hem should have been sewn by hand so the thread wouldn’t show on the front. So now you see the spots where the machine sewed the hem down! Never again will we return here. THUMBS DOWN!
